■宮崎駿監督も過去の作品のコピーに嘆いていた

　実は、過去のヒット作品を真似たものが増えていることについては、以前から警鐘が鳴らされていた。宮崎駿監督はベルリン国際映画祭で「千と千尋の神隠し」が金熊賞(グランプリ)を獲得した02年2月19日、記者会見を開き、記者から日本アニメの世界的な地位を質問されると、「日本アニメはどん底の状態」とし

　　「庵野が自分たちはコピー世代の最初と言っていたが、それより若いのはコピーのコピーだ。そうしたことで(アニメ業界が)どれだけ歪んでいて薄くなっているか」

などと答えている。庵野というのは大ヒットアニメ映画「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」の庵野秀明監督(51)のことだ。

　今回の押井さんの発言についてネットでは

　　「萌えクソアニメの乱発は誰が見ても異常」
　　「アニメ業界が飽和しすぎで、コピー品を粗製乱造しなきゃ回らなくなってる」
　　「売らなきゃ食っていけないからな。安定して売れるのがオタク向けの萌えやエロ」
　　

などと納得する人もいるのだが、現在主流となっているアニメのファン達は、自分達の趣味趣向、好きなアニメを批判するのは許せない、と激しく反発。しかし理論で立ち向かえないからなのか

　　「押井のアニメくそつまんねーんだよ」
　　「押井も信者向けの消費財じゃん」

などといった作品批判や、人格批判へと発展し、大混乱となっている。
